A fresh, crisp craft lager with bags of aromatic hop character and a clean finish. Based on a clean, crisp craft lager for maximum refreshment. Dry-hopped with Centennial Columbus and Cascade hops for a bright citrus-spice aroma. A burst of citrus hop flavour gives way to a cool crisp lager finish.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small, white head. Aroma of biscuity malts rather than hops - definitely not dry-hopped. Rather thinbodied, again somewhat biscuity malts with a solid bitterness. But never have 5 combined hops given so little aroma. If you don’t use great hops for anything else than this, then why bother at all. A sad, sad creation. 120717

Can from Tesco, Borehamwood. Golden-amber with a thin head and a carbonation. Crisp and mildly hoppy, its lager malt influence is there but low.

Can from Tesco Inverurie. It pours clear golden - amber with a small white head. The aroma is sweet lagery malts, white bread, toasty grain, cereal, touch of pine and lemon peel. The taste is crisp, dry, restrained bitterness, lemon peel, lemongrass, toasty grain, white bread and cereal with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty ok lager.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear copper pour with one finger soapy white head. Average head retention and lacing. Surprisingly pleasant nose - solid hop character, a bit earthy, touch of citrus, touch of caramel. Very nice. Thin to medium body with average carbonation. Prickly, a bit fizzy, light on the tongue. Pleasantly bitter taste with slight tart citrus notes to it. Good balance between malt and hop character. Grassy, herbal. Touch of caramel. Hops, both earthy and citrus. Clean, crisp and refreshing. Relatively short finish, mostly dry mouthfeel. Overall, very pleasant surprise. Really tasty lager with good hop character to it. Nice one.
