Slightly spicy red ale with a balanced backbone of hops and lightly caramelised malts. On nose the dry smokiness of cayenne pepper bullies the aromas of gentle Amarillo hops and malted barley aside. But a playful caramel reigns on the tongue, leaving the pepper to just nudging the throat to leave the aftertaste to the fruity bitterness of the hops.

Smell- weak, malt, herbs, caramel. Foam- thin, soft, some hops and spices and hoppy bitter notes, some herbs. Head is medium-large, light brown, orange-white color, a bit like soap water. Appearance- mostly clear orange, brown color, a bit like tea. Some carbonation at random spots, guess medium. Taste- malt, hops, herbs, spices in the background, pepper and caramel, malt. An interesting combo would go well with some food, but I don't even have a snack, perfectly drinkable, pepper may bite much at times though, but as said it may go well with some food.

200ml tap at Labietis, Riga with The_Cellarer. Unclear with some particles. Filmy layer. Peach, bread and herbs is noticeable even before lifting the glass. Hint of flowers. Tobacco? Or is it the guy next to us? Interesting taste, well-balanced, herbs, dark fruits and pepper of course. Soft. Great mouth feel. Pleasant.Like it a lot!

On tap at Labietis, Riga. Hazy deep golden with a white head. Malty and fairly fruity aroma with hints of peaches and pepper. Moderate sweet with mild fruity flavours and a nice and mild chili burn in the end. Tasty and easy to drink. Nice one! --- Beer merged from original tick of Pipars on 16 Nov 2014 at 14:56 - Score: 7
