27-03-18 // taster at the brewpub in Frankfurt. Murky brown. Roasted malt nose. Very mild chocolate. Mild sour. Weird.

10cl sample pours a translucent garnet amber with some sticky, off white head. Nose is OK, fall fruits, yeast, some grainy oatmeal, raisin too. Flavors are sweeter than I'd imagine, raisins, toffee, a little bubblegum, some date and fruit cake. Finishes off dry with a roasty bittermess that was missed elsewhere. Way more of an amber ale than anything else.
