The blend of pale, lager, crystal and cara malts give Goldeneye its full body and rich gold colour. The initial impression of moderate bitterness balances with a clean finish. Fruity citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine shine through with a touch of marmalade sweetness.

0.33l bottle from Systembolaget Passagen, Stockholm. This one pours a clouded copperish body with a small fading big bubbly and sidesticking just off-white head. The first thing I get in the aroma is lots of chocolate! Strange thing to put in a pale ale. Also nice fruity tones, caramel, ripe berries and lots of sweet malts. Nice aroma. Average carbonated with a rich and surprisingly thick and almost oily mouthfeel. Sweet and malty flavors quite elegantly balanced by fruity and dry hops. Hints of strawberries and peaches. Ends light dry. This one impressed me. A good APA!

33cl bottle from Systembolaget. Poured amber color with a nice lacing, steady white head. Very malty, dark fruity aroma. Flavor is malt, floral hops, and woody notes, especially towards finish. Nice brew indeed.

Bärnstensfärgad, lågt skum. Härlig humledoft: blomsteräng, mineraler, jord. Den väcker vårkänslor hos mig. Smaken är rund och faktiskt lite fylligare än förväntat, lite järn, örtig beska, gräs, lite karamell och typiskt blommig brittisk humleprofil som jag är svag för. Riktigt bra till ett riktigt bra pris.

Bottle from Systembolaget, Växjö C. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are flowers, caramel, notes of butter, malt and hops. Nice and pleasant with a semi bitter finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, peachy and slight orange fruity. Bitter, citrusy and caramelish to dark breadish malty. Finish is bitter, roasted and slight grapefruity hoppy.

Bottle. Pours amber, clear, with a white head. The aroma has got an oily hopiness with notes of carrots and herbs. Grassy hoppiness in tate, also some caramel malt and a herby spiciness. Medium bitterness. Lots of herbs in the aftertaste. Light texture, almost watery.
