Draft at Pigs Ear. Black with foamy head. Mild roasty aroma, taste is more of the roasted malts, dty, lingering bitterness.

Tried at the Newark CAMRA beer festival 2018. Off black colour with a tan head. Aroma course grain malt. Taste roasted bitter. Slight dryness. Medium body.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark reddish-brown with a frothy-bubbly head. It's a bland tasting stout, with its roasted malts evident but struggling, at its most prominent as a dry aftertaste. Has a floral-roasted nose.
