Our original brew, Yorkshire Terrier is a multi-award winning single hop premium golden ale. Using only the flavours of UK grown Challenger hops and a dash of Crystal malt, expect a refreshing taste, where fruit and hops dominate the flavour and aroma with a clean, bitter finish.
Food Match: Guzzler's citrus and light floral notes mean it works well with subtly flavoured white fish and chicken dishes.
Malt: Pale, Crystal
Hops: Challenger (UK)
IBU: 38
CONTAINS GLUTEN (Barley & Wheat)

Half, cask. In fine condition and drinking temperature at Mr Foleys Cask Ale House in Leeds. Copper coloured body. Modest white, nitro head. Smooth smell of floral hops. Malt-fruity taste profile with a good bite of resinous hops and a lingering bitter finish. A classic good British bitter. Enjoyed while watching Spain vs Netherlands in the Soccer World Cup, 11.07.2010.

28th June 2010. On tap at the Sun Inn, Kelvedon, Essex. Clear amber beer. No real head. Light dry palate, smooth. Tea like malt with a little orange and a whisper of peach. A little dry toffee as well. A bit over dry but drinks well enough.

From cask at Thomsens. Pours clear and golden orange with a small dense and white head. Light spiced and roasted malty aroma. Flavour too is quite dominant on the malt flavours. Does hold a light bitterness and mild fruity accent. Finish is smooth roasted malty with a slowly building bitterness on the back of the tongue and into the far finish.

Cask at The Penny Black, JDW, Bicester, Oxon 06-07-08 This is one of those beers that I’ve had plenty of times but have never got around to rating. Pours amber with thin white head. Some toffee and malts on the nose. Taste starts out sweet with some toffee and fruits but then gets a little bitter and also as the description states there is a nice creaminess about this, very decent simple well crafted bitter, and well doine to my local JDW for serving two beers in such good nick.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of diacethyl, malt, and fruit. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of citrus and malt, but also with note of diacethyl. The body is thin. Too much diacethyl for me.

Copper with a small white head. Malt, grass and toffee in the aroma. Dry and malty, rather boring flavour.
