500ml bottle. Clear amber with small creamy off-white head, decent retention. Caramel malts on the nose. Taste is caramel malts, light fruitiness and floral notes with a modest bitter bite in the finish with a touch of spice. Light body with lowish carbonation that lacks a bit of zing. Overall good solid session bitter.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear gold with a creamy, off-white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of bready pale malts, mild bitter hay, a faint apple note, biscuit. Light bodied with average carbonation. Easygoing finish, simple pale malts, mild bitterness. Fine in general.

Flaska från SB. Bärnstensfärgad med smutsvit krämig skumpuck. Toner av äpple, lite kola och knäckig karamell, lätt metallisk, lätt fruktig. Något högre beska? Smakar verkligen som att det är godare på cask.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a small, roughish off-white head. Vague nutty nose with imprints of British hops. Medium body, slightly caramelly with a low carbonation and a somewhat hoppy finish. A bit sloppy. 271022
