Food Match: Guzzler's citrus and light floral notes mean it works well with subtly flavoured white fish and chicken dishes.

Malt: Pale, Crystal

Hops: Challenger (UK)

Cask@GBBF2007. Hazy golden colour, not much head. Aroma is malts, honey and some wooden hints. Flavour is malts and hops. Really big woodenness in aftertaste.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 26 Nov) Amber colour with foamy white head. Fruity nose with earthy, dusty hops and dried apricot. Fruity taste with grapefruit, dried apricot and earthy hops in the bitter finish. Lots of taste, lots of hops. Nice one.

Cask gravity at Blakes , Dover.Coming to the end of the barrel, amber in colour with apple nose some hop thinnish and disappointing. Remember having this in the Mogul last year and thinking that it was a good best bitter, but this was not how I remembered it. 2.9/5.0 Re-rate cask gravity at County Hotel, Ashford. Slight yeast hop aroma, perfect balance in mouth slight malt sweetness with growing hoppiness, yet still the yeast from the aroma continuing. Utterly drinkable. Good condition, good lacing. Finish lasted some time. Although not overly aggressive hoppy. This is what the UK is good at and should try to replicate. subtle and balance.

Samplad cask conditioned at Akkurat, Stockholm, Sweden.
Dark golden. Flowery, near dusty aroma. Very dry. Well rounded with firm maltiness and a long flowey finish with growing bitterness.
