13-12-19 // served hot as Glühbier with honey added for more sweetness. Clearish deep red. No head. Warm beer is not really a good thing. Needs quite a good amount of honey to get a little sweetness. The dry bitterness of the beer remains when hot. Good natural cherry aromas though. Spices are milder when hot. No carbonation really. Takes a few you sips to appreciate but then it is quite a solid replacement if you dont like mulled wine. 13-12-19 // in the cold served version. Way better than warm. Good sour cherry aromas. The spices are more prominant. Star anise and clove. Less cinnamon. A mild dry bitter finish. But not hoppy. 16-12-19 // Growler filled and shared with the family. Unclear dark red. Not really a head. Cherry and dominant star anise nose. Good fruitiness. Good spice notes. I definitely like it.
