25-03-17 // 330ml from the bottle at a small local market in Vienna. Hazy, pinkish beer. Light sour nose with some rasperry cherry flavours. Taste is light sour, medium sweet, nice cherry fruitiness a bit funky. Well carbonated. Easy and refreshing.

0,33l bottle at home shared with Simay. BB 03/2016. bottle says 4.2% ABV. pinkish / orange cloudy color, small white head. smells sour, light smoke notes, spices, funk, cherry notes, light green apples, light sausages, some berry notes, a bit acidic. light to medium body, bubbly carbonation, light mouthfeel. tastes of cherries, a bit citric, rather sweet, some spices, tobacco, also some sourness. finishes with sweet/sour and berry notes a bit jam-like. good stuff, taste is quite sweet, almost a bit too sweet for me. Nose for me has a bit too many spices, almost smoke like notes, makes it a bit messy with the sour notes. overall a quite nice and enjoyable beer though.

330 ml bottle from Karmelitermarkt, Vienna.
Deep pink, cloudy body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, light beige head.
Very interesting aroma of sour cherries, cheese, barnyard, bread, some sweet fruits.
Taste is sour, dry, slightly salty, with cherries, apples, some barnyard, citrus, yeast.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes sour, a bit bitter, dry, abit yeasty, fruity.
Really interesing. The nose is really lovely, full and unique, while the taste is more straight dry, sour and pretty fresh. Overall a pleasant surprise, one of the best fruit beers from Austria I’ve had so far.
