Lager beer with a golden robe and a grain and fruit scent. Its balanced sparkling releases a sweet flavor of ripe fruit, malt and green hops on the palate. Quite dense beer with a light and sweet bitterness.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A clear golden beer with a mid-sized to small off-white head. Aroma of mild sweet grainy malt, corn. Taste of dry grainy malt, cereals, corn, low bitterness.

50cl bottle. Smooth grainy beginning. Sweetish grainy, hints of corn there, malty with not much bitterness. Sessionabel but weak.

50cl bottle from my local ASDA: poured into a Cobra badged tall straight sided pint sleeve at home on 5th Jan 2016. Clear, clean and bright body, light golden in colour: on top a full and deep snow white head, plenty of carbonation bubbles rising through the brew. Corn/grain aroma with a cereal lead in the taste too: some sweetness in the flavour. Not a good example of a ’Continental Lager’ if you ask me. Mild bitterness towards the end of each gulp (this is not a sipper). No problem with the appearance and head retention, aroma and taste are the problems for me. I live sweeter beers normally, but this did not work for me.
