Beautiful sweet, sticky, dessert aroma, but doesn’t live up to the expectations of the nose. Pours a clear dark brown with a ring of airy head, taste is sweet but flat, with some burnt sugar flavor. Finishes fast, mild sticky coating on the tongue.

Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color with a large foamy tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was very strong vanilla cream, toffee and was very sweet. The flavor was strong vanilla cream, toffee and artificial vanilla. long finish. Medium body. Reminded me of vanilla cream soda.

Bottle. Light chocolate and caramel barley malt aroma. Deep chestnut with a large beige head. Light chocolate and caramel barley malt flavor, just like the nose, followed by a light roasty bitter finish. Light body, moderate carbonation.

Pour is a dark red with a small white head. Aroma Is toffee and chocolate pudding. Flavor is more of a chocolate with a nice rich mouthfeel. This is an ok beer with a Youngs double chocolate stout flavor with some other flavorings added.

bottle - Pours a medium brown color with a small tan head. It smells of toffee and malt. The flavor is of caramel malt, toffee, and mildly bitter hops. It’s thin and surprisingly more bland than I expected. It just rises above mediocre.

Before I opened the bottle I knew it was a gimmick beer. With that said, the brewery did achieve the gimmick they were after. Smells like bread pudding drizzled in caramel. Hints of yeast.

Flavor is indeed caramel candy. Just a lot of toffee, caramel and light bitterness underneath. The thing that is off here is the artificial sweetness, it’s just very unbalanced. Texture is sticky with syrup. This is a sticky sweet mess, like the woman I date. A hot sticky mess.... No thanks.

500ml bottle from Tesco - Before you have this, treat it like a Bruce Willis Die Hard film, not one for the aficionados but great fun nonetheless. This has a dark brown body, foamy white head. Nose is toffee, go figure, a very sweet Thornton’s style. Taste is sugary, but treating this as a standalone "dessert beer" after a meal, it is surprisingly balanced. I doubt I’d like this if it was in the middle of a session, or on a tasting night, but on its own... fun.

330ml bottle pours out a dark brown. With a ring of sand as the head. Nose is sweet candy toffee bread malts and some bananas. Taste is as the nose with a nice little sweet toffee note a bite of bitterness on the end.
