bottle from menu. gusher, spilled over after opening, but i managed to pour it with no problems, so slow gusher 0.5 to 1 seconds delay before it spills over a bit. unclear red brownish color, brown head. mild sweet malty and nutty aroma. taste is like a belgian dubbel, but with a little bit more sweet herbs , like browncakes, and a little bit more obvious alc. bitterness. The few other la granda beers i have tasted have been way better with their first impression flavor than this one - this one is just average, and a bit below average for a belgian craft. i think it might remind me of westvleteren 8, which is a bit strange, it seems like it tastes better after a few sips.

Sampled @ 3. Mainzer Craftbier Messe 2017. A slightly hazy dark orange golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of reddish malt, caramel, wheat. Taste of caramelish malt, not too bitter, spruce, okay.

75 cl bottle. Brown color, hazed, explosive yellowish head. Winous smell. Aroma of caramel, sugar, red wine. Very wild, raw. Taste is sourish. Balanced mild bitterness, dry alcoholic finish.
