Just because there’s kiwi fruit in the recipe, it doesn’t mean the Kiwi’s invented it. This pavlova pale ale is packed full of strawberries, passion fruit, kiwifruit and vanilla. It’s well balanced and super smooth for a 5.5% pale ale. (Can) Pours hazy golden with absurdly large loose white head. Pleasant aroma - yeasty, zesty, hints of pepper. Medium body with good carbonation. Tart, fruity, hints of pepper. Very nice, but I don’t get the pav (which to me is sweet and creamy).

Pours gold with a quickly fading head.Nose shows vanilla, strawberry, passion fruit, custard, clean malt.Flavours include more vanilla and strawberry along with hints of passionfruit. The vanilla is pretty strong.

Can. Somewhat hazy gold with a white head. A fair few floaties. Aroma of kiwifruit, strawberries, caramel syrup, vanilla. Not that sweet but unhappily that caramel syrup note pushes the fruit and supporting hops into the background. The sharper kiwi and passionfruit notes nice enough but it's not really for me.

The first thing I get when I have a whiff is heaps of meringue. Then comes all of those flavours they added - the kiwi fruit, strawberry and passionfruit. It's the kind of sour I like, with a strong malt backbone to offset the tartness. A real winner for me.
