The ultimate catch, a refreshing golden pale ale with a fruity bitterness and lingering aftertaste. Certainly a beer to help create those “one that got away” stories! Brewed with home grown malts and hopped with the fruity Cascade and Goldings hops.

500 ml bottle, from Matkroken Stokka. BBE 07.2014. ABV is 4%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts and dust, a hint of ripe yellow fruits. Grainy and fairly dry flavour, just a faint hint of fruity hops, "dusty" Goldings hops in the finish. Rather boring.

Ale konkretnie goryczkowe i wytrawne. Kolor pomarańczowy blady z mala biala piana. Pachnie dojrzałymi cytrynami. Smak cytrusowy, melon i sporo wytrawnej goryczy na podniebieniu. Pozostawia przyjemny i dlugi wytrawny finisz. Ale dość lekkie i pijalne

Bottle from Waitrose. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - grassy and biscuity. Taste - a nice blend of citrus, grass and dry biscuits again. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - I would consider this a Bitter. In fact, some of the complexity in it, makes me think of Premium Bitter even if the ABV doesn’t merit it.
