500ml bottle. Cola brown colour with a short lived off white head. Coffee and chocolate aroma, first sip was the same. Second sip is when the orange came through. Basically a liquid Jaffa cake after that. Good

500ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with weak ruby glimmer and small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Dark malty, chocolately and minimally fruity aroma, hints of milk chocolate, some coffee a touch of orange and red berries. Taste is slightly bitter, chocolately dark malty, hints of instant coffee, a touch of orange. A bit thin.

Bottle at TJ’s diner. Black body with a thin tan head. Good lacing. Aroma of marmalade, chocolate orange and rust. Flavour of dried orange peel, ash and berries. Thin body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Light and roasted.

500ml bottle from SPAR at Blue Dolphin Caravan park, near Filey. Black brown colour with a red tinge, tan foam head leaving lacing and chocolate malt & roast coffee aroma. Taste is roasted malty, chocolate & coffee, with fruity orange and some earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roast bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas & Max. Black. Aroma of roast, orange, and a bit of coffee and chocolate. Sweetish flavor with roast, coffee, orange, a bit of cocoa. Medium-bodied.

Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, mint, roasted, sweet malt, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, dark malt, sweet malt, roasted - chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160625]

Cask @Le Bon Bock (Rome). Pours deep brown with a medium and persistent off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, light licorice. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, with a medium bitter end, roasted notes, lotams of coffee. Medium body, light carbonation. Refined, very good!
