50cl bottle from Londis, Sunninghill. A glossy black pour with a tawny gleam and a thin beige head; chocolate orange taste with a biscuity malt body; and a rounded orange citrus bitterness, followed up by some milky coffee. Quite a confused set of flavours, but they combine well.

Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of chocolate, red berries and orange peel. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Quite nice.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2016 - hotel room. Pours deep red-brown with a frothy tan head. The nose holds well toasted malts, dried berries, earth. Medium sweet flavor with dry earthy bitterness, dusty cocoa, dry leathery fruits. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Toasty malts in the finish, some orange, earth, light toffee, old cocoa. Not bad.

27th June 2015: 500ml bottle during 2nd Annual Midlands tasting, I brought this offering. Deep ruby pour with a lightly tanned head on top. Was expecting some sort of marmalade action or flavour: found none. I did however find a very tasty Porter with slight chocolate and coffee notes in both the aroma and flavour from the well roasted malts that front the brew. Decent, even if they let me down on the oranges!
