Opaque black beer with a bubbly beige head and an aroma of dark chocolate and orange. Flavour is initially quite tangy with the orange but the bitter chocolatey taste levels that out and it’s that which lingers along with a malty edge in the aftertaste. Not the beefiest finish going but this is nicely balanced and pretty drinkable.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep amber with a decent head. Nose - light fermented malt, almost soy sauce. Taste - some light orange, more of the bread thing and the finish isn’t disagreeable. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly decent finish, Overall - a solid citizen.

Aroma has nice cocoa notes and coffee. Also deep roasted notes. Flavour has ash, licorice, coffee and mild herbal tones. Finishes intensive and somewhat ashy. Also some toffee. Nice.

Bottle. Santa give it. Clear brown. Film of tan head. Healthy orange chocolate. Fit marmalade. Muscles of nuts. Shit hot at lifting. Two year lay off. Creatine to nephews. That’s how it is. Starts great. Turns a bit bollocks. Good while it lasted.

Dark brown color, almost no head. The aroma is mildly chocolatey, dark caramel, very light smoke. Blend of chocolate and roasted malts, a bit of treacle, low bitterness, fairly sweet, with roasted nuts in the final.
Nice.
