Together, they patrol this forest, outsiders in possession of great power and force, united as one and able to overcome any foe with their combined might.

Banshee and the Beast is a blended Imperial Stout aged in Irish Whiskey and Bourbon barrels. Bold roasted malt flavor gives way to a smooth finish, abetted by barrel-aged complexity and the soft hints of Bourbon and Irish Whiskey.

Another Clown Shoes imperial stout purchased at the Cellar in Odessa, TX. Undoubtedly one of my favorite brewers, I always look forward to trying a new brew from them. I lift into a Great Heights snifter to see a very dark, almost black liquid and the barest skim of light brown foam around the rim. The nose is a strong chocolate and dark wheat bread. And ultimately the taste, baking chocolate, some berry, a booziness and burnt toast. Good but not one of their best.
