Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8.5

On cask @ The Snowdrop, Lewes. Smooth fresh and slightly malty. Very nice, intense caramel, not much bitterness. Long roasted caramel aftertaste, very smooth with a chocolate and not too sweet aftertaste. Great!

Cask at EBF 23, 24/03/16. Rich amber with soft reddish hues and topped with a healthy beige cap. Nose is light roast malts, light spice, chocolate, toffee indulge. Taste comprises light charr, biscuit, toffee, hot chocolate, liquorice. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop interplay. Solid porter.

Cask @ Egham 23. Almost black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and moderate hoppy. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. Oily and smooth. Lovely. 260316
