* Old rating, 0,5l crown-top bottle, best before 04.2003. Bought in October 2002 in Hamburg. Malzig-dunkles Bier. Moderat bitter, moderat süß. Nicht zu klebrig, dunkelmalzig, nett.

(Bottle 50 cl) Apparently brewed from the devils own recipe... Nothing diabolic about it though. The malt provides a pretty, reddish brown colour. Flavour is dominated by the roasted malt. But mainly dry and bitter with a weak, underlying sweetness. Full-bodied and quite nice. 300600

A red-brown beer with a fine white head. The aroma is sour malty with notes of caramel. The flavor though is sweet malty with notes of caramel and straw.
