330ml bottle, as BEYakka, 7.3 %, L99, bought at the Beer Shop in Alfaz. Patchy fawn-coloured head, coal black body, clingy lacing. Roasted malty nose, hints of liquorice and prunes. The taste profile is also roasted with impacts of prunes, raisin, liquorice and ash. Dark malt-driven finish with a piney note. Quite easy to drink. Pleasing taste. (Hotel room, El Albir 30.03.2019).

At a tasting, small creamy beige head, very cloudy muddy brown color, aroma of chocolate and charcoal, chocolate flavor with green vegetables and charcoal bitterness which is a bit harsh. Fair and drinkable.

Dark black in the glass, beige head and nice malty-roasted-dry nose. The beer starts dark roasted, very dry intense. The aromatic hop-flavours come in very fast and intense, flowery-bloomy and harmonise great with the dry, roasted beer. Chocolate, roasted nuts, dark roasted rye bread, absolutely dry. A great brew! The aftertaste is long, lots of hop-aroma, chocolate, roasted bread, nicely bitter. Very long intense aftertaste! Complex, but still great drinkability. Long roasted bitter aroma on the tongue.
--> An absolutely great beer! Thanks to my secret santa! --> 15/13/14/15

On tap @ Oktoberfest Artesanal at Colmenar Viejo. Black colour with a creamy beige head with good lasting and medium lacing. Aroma has notes of toasted malts, slightly ripe fruit and ash. Flavor is strong coffee, medium bitterness with good duration, light wood hints and roasted malts are present. The finla is bittery and dry. According with the brewer and the label this beer os considered as a BIPA but its close to an Imperial Stout.
