(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, brown colour with a beige mid-sized frothy head. Molassy sweet malty aroma with notes of toffee and hints of candied fruits. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly dark malty base with notes of molasses and toffee; slightly licquorice saltiness towards the moderately sweet malty finish with a warming alcoholic strength. Definitely not a session beer. 29.VIII.18

Gourmet-Fläschle(Dank am See!): Deeply copper coloured, hazy, small off-white foamy layer; moderate sweet-bitter nose of dried fruits and caramel, distinctive herbal-hoppy "backbone"; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, not too soft; lingering and drier bitter-sweet finish with herbal-lemony hops, dark malt and a well-hidden, but nevertheless well detectable alcohol-burn. Thanks to kevnic2008. The beer is cloudy and dark. The beer starts sweet, honey, malt. Thick and nice. The mainpart is also very thick, fullbodied, malty caramel, slightly bitter. The aftertaste is long, caramel-sweet, nicely bitter. --> nice good Doppelbock! 12/9/10/10

Beautiful red-brown color, foam disappears quickly. Smell sweet and malty. In Antrunk predominantly malty, but soon comes to the hops and the 8.1% Alc. felt strongly. Overall however a good double bock.

Bottle looks very simple, but good. Beer in the glass in the middle between light and dark, huge head. Starts very strong, extremely malty-spicy, sweet, sticky, simply too much. Finish a bit softer, still very malty and spicy, a bit moldy. Strange doppelbock.
