Rustic Lager is not Lager reinvented, it’s Lager remembered. Brewed using a blend of our house yeast, with an amber colour from 100% British malt and a dry hop bitterness from Pacific Northwest hops, this 4.5% beer is unfiltered and unfined.

Rustic lager is taking lager back from thin, over processed, industrial monsters and unreliable reinventions, giving you a crisp, refreshing drink without filters or additives.

33cl bottle from BrewDog Online Store. F: thin, white, quick gone. C: gold, hazy. A: malty, bready, bit caramel. T: malty, bready, caramel, no woody tones at all, vaguely fruity feeling, low carbonation, what the hell is this, very sad boring beer.

Bottle from Fajne potraviny Košice Hmm. Nothing, no funk, barely noticeable barrel aging. Sad sad story and wasted potential

Cloudy and deep dark yellow color, small head. Light, smooth, creamy. Malty and sweet, a bit fruity. Very nice.

Tap at Ant Farm, Lahti. Color is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Some fruits, caramel and malts.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Cloudy golden. Lots of apple (acetaldehyde), sweetish, wood.

Bottle from kicking horse. Amber colour with a slim head. Aroma and taste are malty and honey sweet with slight dry wood. Light thin body.

Big thank you to Erzengel for this bottle. Opaque amber with a small white head in the glass. Some caramel and citrus on the nose but on a very low level. Taste? Flat. Watery. Thin lager with a little bit old wood on the backfront. Boring.

Appearance is amber and clear, with a very small head. Aroma is funk, oak, fruits, tannin hints, apple. Taste is malty, wheat, orchard fruits, woody, apple pie hints.

330ml bottle from Brewdog online, as part of AGM box. Golden amber colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of floral, fruity. Taste is malty, alittle toffee, with some woody oaky notes and fruity grassy bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
