Same beer as the now renamed Landlord Dark. Bottle from Booths Supermarket, Media City. Black with an extremely thin off-white head. Easy textured dark-malt ale, somewhat sweet, with this fusion becoming its flavour. Much better than the cask version I first sampled a decade ago although that was probably a bad batch

Many thanks to Simontomlinson. Fantastic smooth malty beginning. Dry, moderate bitter with a nice smooth finish. Dry bitter, round and sessionable.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges. Chocolate, cherries and hints of vanilla in the aroma. Chocolate, blackcurrant, roasted malt, vanilla and berries can all be detected in the taste. An enjoyable, tasty and rather interesting dark mild.
