0,33 l bottle purchased at their brewpub at the Reeperbahn. BB 15.05.26. Cloudy bright orange golden with a more than one finger white stable head in the glass. A lot of clove and banana on the nose, banana and pale malt in the background. Taste starts with pale malt, mid yeasty, banana and clove. Soft bitterness.Too high and unpleasent carbonated in my opinion.

Smell of wheat, yeast, some clove. Hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of clove, wheat, some banana, Medium sweet. Lively carbon. Balanced.

Trocken bananiger Beginn, leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung. Würzig, stärker bananig werdend, hefig, etwas kräutrig. Gut! 8/9/9/9/8/9

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with unnecessarily huge, frothy, moderately to mostly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, slightly bready, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, slightly yeasty spicy and minimally doughy aroma, notes of banana, hints of baked banana, a touch of clove, whiffs of cinnamon. Taste is peppery yeasty spicy, sweet-ish, slightly bready, wheaty malty and minimally yeasty fruity, diluted hints of unripe banana, some clove and pepper. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium to coarse, lively carbonation. Nice (and promising) aroma, therefore unsatisfying taste, way overcarbonated - meh!

On tap. A hazy golden beer with a white head. Aroma of phenols, wheat and mild sweet banana. Taste of banana, phenols, some esters, yeasty finish.

Draught, 5.7% at the brewpub. Weak banana aroma. Fairly cloudy golden come. OK stable white head. The flavour has a nice enough banana note and a medium bitterness.

18/10/2019. Tap, part of their taster board, at Astra Brauerei St. Pauli, Hamburg. Poured hazy orange gold with an off-white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, clove, hops and an edge of smoky bacon crisps. . Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.
