We’ve developed many IPA recipes in our R&D program, but right from the tank, our Manta Ray Double IPA was a winner. Aromas of fresh, citrusy tangerine, melon and light pine leap from the beer and linger over a smooth finish. Like its namesake, this brew can sneak up on you – a big beer without a bite.

Sample at the Nimman beer festival. Thick creamy white head. Very hazy light amber pour. Lovely bitterness. Easy drinking for the high abv.

355ml bottle from Alko. BBE 28.05.19. Pours clear golden with a small head. Aroma of sweetish citrusy notes, caramely malts, pine, resin and grass. Taste is sweetish, crisp and grassy with some citrus, pine, resin and caramely malts. Finish is sweet, caramely malty and crisp grassy hoppy with some pine, resin and grapefruit. Decent, quite crisp and citrusy west coast DIPA.

Bottled 355ml (Alko web)
Dark golden colour, small white head. Piney and citrusy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Sweet maltyness, fruits, lemon peels, citrus and resiny hops in the flavour. Lots of citrusy hops. Very clean, sweetish dipa with a bit weak maltbase for this ABV. Towards old skool.

An slightly orange beer, a head is blond and medium. Aroma has caramel, peach, low citrus and pine. Taste has caramel, less fruitness than in the aroma, wood and pine. Enough of bitterness, but not very bitter. Medium+ bodied. I'd prefer more fruitful, but someone will like just like this is now.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear light amber, medium off white head that dissipates quickly. Nose is melon, grapefruit, some spruce or pine notes. Flavour is that plus a fairly meaty malt bill providing some balance. Short finish unexpectedly.
