Just a short red wax on this bottle. But it’s the hard crumbly wax that is not only hard to get off but goes every fucking where. On the floor, in me glass, on me phone. Hey, I’m sure the intentions were good here and I am not singling out this brewer at all but I feel the need for some customer feedback here. So kindly take your crumbly wax, which is not wanted and not needed and shove it up yer fucking arse! Thank you. So the beer that I wanted and caused so much inadvertent crumbly fucking red wax devastation to get to? Well it’s almost a clear deep amber beer, tidy and bubbly pale tan head. Smooth light palate, semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, nice light creamy sweet vibe. Nice blend of bourbon and rum soaked fruits. Light vanilla barrel. Modest spice on the finish. Well joined up and drinkable.

330mL bottle at Taka, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark dried fruits, especially raisins, with a touch of vegetal character and some toffee. Flavour is along the same lines, with raisins, caramel and some boiled vegetables. Sweet but not cloying, with a near-flat body. It's pretty solid.

Bottled at One Pint Pub. Dark brown colour, steady beige head. Hoppy, harsh, vineous aroma. Medium-bodied. Malty, alcohol, grass, no raisins. Meh.
