33cl bottle (as Alķīmiķis Saison) from Stockmann, Riga. Pours slightly hazy golden with a modest, dissipating, white head. Fruity and slightly perfumy with spicy and yeasty notes. Moderate sweet with mild, but pleasant saison flavours. Quite enjoyable.

Smell- sweet, caramel, candy, some Belgian feel. Foam- thin, huge in mouth. soft, after shaking hard to tell, some kind of sweet notes. Large foam, creamy orange white color. Appearance- almost clear, yellow, orange, carbonated both inside and on sides, quite active. Taste- sweet, caramel, some caramel, citrus, some bitter notes, more in aftertaste, but weak, bit dry, easy drinking. Quite good, some belgian feel, but not so intense, still nice.

On tap at Bierhaus, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light fruity esters, saison yeast and biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with saison yeast, light fruity esters and biscuity malt. Not exactly authentic, but it works okay.

(Keg at Bierhaus, 20170105) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, Belgian style yeast, malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, hoppy and bitter. A rather good hoppy saison.
