(swing top bottle) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a blond and huge foamy head. Distinctively smoke malty and slightly salty aroma with notes of smoked ham and a tinge of smoked salmon. Mildly sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Present smoke malty taste with a delicately grainy spot underneath, accompanied by shades of herbal hops; moderately sweet and smoky malty finish with notes of beechwood and traces od salty fish. Not a very complex but likeable smoked Bock. 15.IV.14

Bügelverschlußflasche:Deep golden, unclear, visible carbonation, bigger and stable lacy White head; moderate smokey - including traces of smoked salmon - nose, accompanied by pale malt and shy hops; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; lingering "crunchy" sweet bisquity finish with an increasing hoppiness in the aftertaste. A well balanced and pleasant Bock...

A hazy dark amber beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of smoke, as well as hints of acidity. The flavor is slighlty acidic combined with good notes of smoke and bacon as well as notes of malt and caramel in the background. The end is dry.

Bottle, 7.5%. Quite smoky aroma, like chew tobacco. Almost clear very dark red colour. Unstable head. Unstable head. The flavour has the same distinct and pleasant smokiness as aroma. Also quite malty with a dusty finish. The smoke might be hiding an underlying cardboard flavour. Low carbonation. Nice.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a cloudy, orangey brown with a small, beige head. Aroma is purely smoked. Medium-bodied, tart - as always from Ricklinger - with distinct notes of smoke. No real bitterness. 210906
