Heavy carbonation, less yeasty than most saisons. Not getting a ton of the pepper or coffee beans, just kind of a…vague general earthiness. Has a bit of ale bitterness at the end.

Bomber bottle. Pours a clear, dark, golden color, with a small, foamy, off-white head. The aroma is butterscotch, black pepper, vanilla, toffee, and cloves. Sweet and sugary, with a mellow bitterness. Creamy, and a bit zesty. Mellow and interesting.

Bottle. Pours orange. Orange zest, liquorice, poppy seed, lemon, grapefruit, negroni, bubblegum, light earthy coffee notes. Very carbonated, but it works. Decent.

From a 330 ml bottle thanks to deanso. Pours a cloudy gold with a thick off white head. Aromas are floral with some floral notes. Flavors are sweet and a bit boozy with some pineapple notes.

33cl bottle from Q bar, Chiang Mai, shared with ifonefan Very hazy amber pour. Medium beige head. An unusual saison. Very nice.

f Nomad had concentrated a bit more on the core qualities of this brew, it could have been _really_ good instead of all over the place.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, deep golden colour with average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Spicy, minimally floral, yeasty aroma, citrusy hoppy overtones, a touch of lavender, sage, cilantro. Taste is citrusy hoppy, floral-spicy, yeasty, a touch of lavender, cilantro, sage, bready malty basis, very cautious coffee overtones. Not really concrete...

Pours hazy orange gold with plenty of foam even after the beer settles down. $7.50 for the 500ml bottle.
I get coriander, fruit..orange, wattle with notes of pepper. Smells decently true to the style.
Taste seems on par. Until I notice a sprinkling of something not only bitter but a burnt kind of bitter that must be the coffee beans. The American hops are there as well and push this Saison towards the wrong direction but not quite. The Saison qualities remain. Thank goodness for that.
Fairly light bodied and good drinkability. I was surprised to see an Australian beer available in Casper. It’s a good one.

500 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 9/2017. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden/yellow color with a 2-3 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, pear, apple, peach, white grape, peppercorn, coriander, clove, wheat, biscuit, herbal, and yeast earthiness; with lighter notes of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and nuttiness. Very nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, moderate pale malt, and light coffee notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, pear, apple, peach, white grape, peppercorn, coriander, clove, wheat, biscuit, herbal, and yeast earthiness; with lighter notes of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and nuttiness. Good amount of yeast spiciness and light-moderate herbal hop bitterness; with slight yeast tartness and wheat tang on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, peach, white grape, peppercorn, coriander, clove, wheat, biscuit, herbal, light chocolate/coffee, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, moderate pale malt, and light coffee flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. High carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, dry, and moderately creamy/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. A bit prickly/foamy/rough at first, before the carbonation lowers a bit in the glass. Minimal warming alcohol as expected of 6.6%. Overall this is an excellent saison. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, moderate pale malt, and light coffee flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the high carbonation. Not a whole lot of coffee/wattle flavors, but they are definitely noticeable in the background; making this still feel like a true to-style saison all around. A very enjoyable offering.
