Bottle. Medium-dark amber-brown. Small head. Aroma is fruity bourbon. Taste is roasted grains, strawberry and bourbon barrel.
Bourbon flavor up front with a slightly tart strawberry finish. Solid.

12 ounce bottle from Festival Northland, 8/24/24. Clear amber, thin fizzy white head, good retention. Aroma of oak, whiskey, butter, fake strawberry. Taste is sweet berry, buttery whiskey. Meh.

$3 bottle at challet premier. Mild malt nose with perhaps a hint of fruit, not sure. Somewhat hazy darker pale like a yellowed iced tea eye. Thinner creamy alabaster foam head. First taste is a cloying alky laced rude ass mouth warming strawberry medicine. Comes across quite rude and artificial. Difficult. Almost induces a gag reflex at times. Once you get over the initial shock, there is a slight hint of fruit tartness in there, but don't count on it. Make no mistake, this is one bad ass alky laced brew that has an alky effect much above the 8% here. Trying to drink this is a task. Even sipping does not help. Maybe if I pourd it over vanilla ice cream? Who knows. You know, I never thought much of these Kentucky Bourbon Barrel brews, I think they are just riding a wave, even with all the fanfare the beer rookies give em. What a mess. Did not appreciate, had to mix it with another neutral brew to keep me from drain pour.

Amber pour, thin head. The aroma is of malt and strawberries. The flavor is very sweet. Too sweet. It's strawberries, which I like, over a mediocre sweet amber ale. The bourbon is minimal. Finish is sweet.
Dark god pour. Thin foam. Strawberry nose. Flavor is strawberry jam with a sweet palate and a little alcohol burn. Easy carbonation

Buttery strawberry nose. Clear copper, thin head. Strawberry, bourbon, butter. Medium body, moderate carbonation.

Strawberry, caramel malt, bourbon, and hay aroma. Golden yellow with minimal head. Lightly sweet strawberry, caramel malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Light bourbon aftertaste. Pretty nice.
