Full bodied strong ale based on pale & caramel malts. Three juicy hops (Chinook, Ella & Citra) and sweet orange peel combine into complex fruity aromas. Big malts balance with mighty bitters. Seasonal: Winter

Pre-weekend biertje. Heel zoet, moutig, kruidig. Wat je verwacht bij een Winter Ale. Ik keur m goed.

Fles 33cl thuis. Kruidig, goed bitter, pine, fruittonen, caramel, wat roasted malts, wat koffie, pepertje, suikers, licht boozy, zoeten, sinaasappel, licht stroperig, nasmaak blijft lang hangen. Prima. (13-1-2019).

F: medium, tanned, average retention. C: dark brown, hazy, opaque. A: dark malts, herbal, bit vinous, red berries, orange, chocolate, bit coffee. T: malty, cocoa, herbal, chocolate, bit mocha, hint of orange peels, spicy, quite dry on the palate compared to aroma, medium to full body, lower carbonation, American hops are not ideal here but for me nice balanced and enjoyable beer, 33cl bottle from Beerwulf webshop.
