Handpull cask from the Three Cups, Bedford. Mid gold with a gentle white head. Grainy spicy smell, very malt-led. Taste is bittersweet with a hoppy spicy bite but there are are balance issues. Wheaty finish, slightly medicinal aftertaste. Nice mouthfeel. Drinkable but far from ideal.

Cask conditioned at The Wellington, Birmingham 21/01/09. Gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of citrus hops with a hint of summer fruit. Flavour started sweetish, before some more fruit, grassy hops and a short bitter finish. Good.
