Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. A reddish amber pour with a loose cream head; aroma of purple fruit; fruity caramel taste with a pleasant, earthy bitterness; and a slightly tart finish. Very tasty.

Cask at the 7 Stars, Rugby, 04/06/14. Very lightly hazed golden with reddish hues topped with a good sized creamy head that retains wellm good lacing ensues. Nose is orchard fruit, red berries, light biscuit. Taste comprises much the same, little bread dough, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth feel on the palate. So so affair, really not a lot too it, looks and feels good, if I hadn’t seen it served I’d have been forgiven for thinking it was a smoothflow keg offering!
