American Pale Ale. APAs Big Bro, made of the same DNA then buffed up with Centennial dry hop. Intense bitterness with massive amounts of citrus and grapefruit aromas. When you meet him be careful! He may come across incredibly BITTER but when you get to know him he is very HOPPY.

Cask at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2021. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are citrus and slight tropical fruit. Medium smooth body.

Handpull cask at the Tavern, Warrington. Light to mid-gold (once it settles) with a tight off-white head. Grapefruit peel, tangerine, some biscuity malt and a whiff of handsoap in the aroma. Hoppy bitter taste with a soapy flavour, leading to a finish laden with back-of-the-tongue hop oils. Soft carbonation. This would be a cracking cask APA if not for the prominence of the soapy notes, and even so I'd recommend it.

Golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are really bitter with resinous hop. Thick. Quite oily.
