Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 34B:29A/21A/19C/2B). Bottle 33cl - Batch MG01.19 (BBF: FEV20). AROMA: medium-low mango aroma, followed by medium phenolic (plastic), medium-low to low green hops and low ripe fruit esters. slight background of yeast. APPEARANCE: dark amber to slightly brown colour and hazy. medium beige moussy head with good retention. TASTE: initial medium phenolic (plastic), mixed with medium fruity (green mango), low citrus hops. no caramel from malt detected. medium-high to high bitterness with an almost dry and overly bitter finish. unbalanced. TASTE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a mixed-style beer with added fruit with some problems and unbalanced.

Dark brown colour with massive frothy head. Aroma certainly has some ripe mango. In the taste the mango gives way to a strange bitterness. It’s not quite there.
