We all know the Grumpy Git: he’s only happy when he’s moaning. It’s too hot or it’s too cold; the music’s too loud or he can’t hear it. He’s grumpy at work, he’s grumpy at home, he’s grumpy at the shops, he’s grumpy watching tele.....Let’s face it, he’s just plain grumpy, and that’s why we love him so much..

500ml bottle. Poured a clear, dark amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, nutty, earthy. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, malt, earthy, herbal, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A decent example of the style.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a thin head. Nose - sweet malt, some herbs and lemon. Not quite reaching biscuits or toffee. Taste - more of the same really. Sweet on the end. Palate - light bodied with a thin texture and a fairly cloying finish. Overall - lots more reasons to be grumpy in there.
