1 February 2020. At Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, Kevin, Niels & Cynthia! Hazy dark brown, lasting, thin, foamy, tan head. Aroma of brioche, butterscotch, dates, pear syrup, liquorice. Taste has sweet dates, raisin & caramel with sweet-spicy liquorice, herbal touch of green tea & thick brioche maltiness. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, lingering toffee & dried dark fruits, warming liqueur/brown rum-like alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Feels a bit messy, but it's tasty.

A try on tap at Delerium in Amsterdam. Nice presence, dark brown with a creamy white top. I determine wheat bread, brown sugar, fig newtons. Pleasant. Good drink in a great environment.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some sweet red fruits and raisins. Maybe some rum. Thin and a bit watery.
