Keg at CW Family & Friends, Session 1 @Manchester Central, 20/02/20. Murky chestnut brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is sweet malts, dark fruit rinds, maple syrup, brown sugar melt, toffee. Taste comprises fruit cake, booze, big maple syrup notes, dates, figs, dark malts. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Ok effort but running too sweet for my liking ... could do with more balance.

Bottle @ home, digital tasting. Copper with thin, beige head. Big maple hit in the nose. Sweet oak, some vanilla, maple, burnt sugar. Slight touch of pine needles. Very nice!

Brown colour with thin head. Aroma has loads of sweet malts and maple syrup. Flavoury has savoury woody notes too. Again loads of maple. Very silky.

Draught @ Cloudwater Friends and Family Fest 2020, Manchester. Pours amber copper with a small creamy head. Maple, wood, chocolate and dark fruit. Sweet and vinous. Quite tasty.
