ABV: 4.9%. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, cocoa, wood, sweet malt, dark malt, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, raspberry, sweet malt, chocolate, cocoa, sugary, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20200123]

Cask, third at Manchester Beer and Cider Festival, Coast To Coast Bar. Shared with Finn. Near-black in body appearance, covering beige head, fair lacing. Aromas of dark malts and berries. Raspberries up front to the taste buds, mid-dry malty backbone. Malt-berry ending, lightly roasted. Satisfying. (Third day at the festival, 24.01.2020).

Manchester Beer Festival 2020. Dark ale with a very manageable raspberry dominance, which provides a light sweetness to its dark malts .

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour do have plenty of raspberry as promised. Nice toasted malts. Quite bitter but with lits of syrupy raspberry too.
