(Can) Pours clear amber with big white head. Subtle pleasant fruity aroma. Medium body with good carbonation. Good taste. There’s plenty of bitterness, if slightly harsh. There’s some subtle toffee sweetness and some interesting candy notes. Pretty decent.

Can. Aldi. Obvs. Clear medium gold. Thin white head. Nose has some corn syrup. Taste is pretty bitter. Thin on the palate. Bitter finish errs toward acrid.

330ml can. Gold, big bubbles, finger of white head, circular retention. Big metallic aroma with an underlying orange resin note; not great. Taste is grainy, some metal although not as much as the aroma, orange; fine but a bit dull. Good body though for the ABV. Overall a drinkable but not great pale ale.

Deep gold with a fluffy white head, and not a great deal going on in the aroma, some lightly roasted malt and alcohol mostly. The flavour is malty with some acidic bitterness, the mouthfeel being heavily carbonated and the finish is short and bitter

330ml can. Pours dull gold with a medium head. Aroma is lemon, caramel and tea. Taste has straw and caramel with some boiled sweets on the finish and soapy lemon on the aftertaste.

33cl can from Aldi. Medium white head. Hazy golden pour. Light bitterness. Could do with more hops

Can. Golden in colour, with moderate carbonation and a slight, white, head. A touch of citrus character, sweet, rich tea malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Ok.
