Bottle 500ml. [ As Crouch Vale Essex Boys Best Bitter ].ABV: 3.8%. Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long to average duration, toffee, sweet malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160625]

Bottled (from AbM). Amber/copper colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild nuttyness with some pleasant fruity and sweet malty notes. Also some mild resiny and slightly birch sap like notes as well. Flavour is nutty, sweet caramel, some wood and mild birch sap as well as some resiny notes.
