Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours somewhat hazy light gold with a large frothy white head. Mango aroma. Med body. Flavor is mango, lightly sweet, with something hinting at canned pineapple. Not sugary tho. Reasonably towards dry. Moderately bitter. 1985? I don't get that, but it's a good drink.

Quarantine Beer #129 sampled at home on 05/12/2020. Hazy straw color with a medium thick white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Aroma of grassy hop, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

12oz can picked up at the state store. Pours hazy yellow with a big frothy white head that dissipates quickly, good lacing. Tropical fruit, wheat, mango, citrus peel and pine resin. Disappointed to find out this is a hazy (nothing on the can). Thought it would be an old school IPA. But it is good.

Quite hazy golden and straw yellow coloured body with a super dense, six to seven centimetre tall tan head that stays afloat for a long time. Aroma of fresh citrus, grapefruit, grass, hay and some light flowers, but relatively mild in the nose with no real pungent hops or bitterness coming out at all. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong mango and fruit notes show at first with a lot of dry herbal and grassy notes showing some softer bitterness and a light dose of tropical fruits that show a glimmer of sweetness, but nothing really noticeable, all with some mellow malts and a soft hit white pepper at the finish. Aftertaste shows a light herbal and grassy bite with some fresh fruits noticeable and a little bitterness, but this shows more of an APA than anything close to an IPA. Overall, a good refreshing beer, but lacking in flavours or depth and really just a mild beer with some light fruity notes and no real character or complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Giant in Manassas, Virginia on 19-May-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 27-May-2020.

355ml can. Enjoyed 1.8.2020. Poured typical hazy looks. Aggressive in a way, nice and flavorful with strong mango and pineapple noes. Fairly dry finish, bitterness and juiciness.

Pretty horrible, chock full of fake mango flavor and pretty much absent any NEIPA qualities other than the haze. Weird cardboard graininess accents the terrible mango notes, while the hops provide a slight bitterness on the finish. Come on, NB. This is crap.
