Who says a craft brewery can’t make a rock solid pilsner to hang your hat on after a long day on the job? We at Amundsen believe all beer styles are as good as the craftsmen behind them. In our craft pilsner you will find, malty graininess that gives way to sticky, piney, hop honey. Just begging to be drunk by the mug full. Run to the pils pairs best with air guitar and teased hair.
MALT: Pilsner, Wheat, Carafoam
HOPS: Sladek, Mandarina Bavaria
YEAST: Lager
Note: First made at the Amundsen brewpub, moved to the production brewery later on.

Light citrus aroma. Taste is a fairly standard pils, but with a nice, zingy citrus edge. Colder would have been nice but it’s alright.

Big white head doesn’t last. Clearish pale yellow body with very light carbonation. Mealy floral aroma with citric notes. Dry-sweet fruity floral taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish floral wooden resiny aftertaste with citric notes. Very nice. Fresh and highly drinkable. (0.33l can, from Meny Strømmen.)
