New England Double IPA, 8%

How can you improve a New England IPA? Double it!

That’s exactly what we did. But that wasn’t enough. So we we added a shitload of hops. Why? Because we wanted to smack you in the face with a beer glass full of tropical fruits bowl.

And that doesn’t mean our beer is so tasty it will hurt. This beer is silky smooth, full bodied and has a very mild bitterness.

The flavours you’ll encounter will make you think of blueberry, mango, lychee and pineapple, backed up by a nice malty backbone.

It comes in at 8% alcohol (that’s what makes it a double).

330ml bottle. Hazy, brown-ish, dark amber colour with small to average, dense, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sugary and zesty, citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of lemon zest, orange peel, candied orange peel. Taste is sugary sweet, slightly zesty, citrusy fruity and minimally leafy hoppy and slightly alcoholic, hints of lemon zest, orange peel, candied orange peel, more tart-ish than bitter zesty; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, indifferent palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Sugary sweet, more West Coast DIPA than NEDIPA - a failure somehow or other.
