Bockleywine (copyright pending, my friends). This brewery seems to specialize in 3% and 14% beers, a curious combo. Slightly harsh aftertast

330ml bottle. (2017 vintage) Pours a clear orange-amber with a small, creamy, short lived, beige head that fully dissipates. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, fig, raisin, prune, toffee, alcohol and wood. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, toffee, raisin, fig, apricot, honey, red wine, spice and wood in a dry, alcohol warming finish. Medium to full body with a syrupy texture and soft carbonation. Nice complexity. A tasty sipper.
