330ml bottle from the Co-Op. Poured a hazy light golden orange colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, yeasty, light citrus. The flavour is light bitter and sour, with a crisp, grainy, yeasty, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. No way is this an English bitter and it was clearly mildly infected anyway. Very poor.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5/6/2019. Deep golden in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. A touch of leafy hop, tangerines, a caramel edge, biscuity malts and a lingering, bitter, finish. Good.

Cask at The One Elm, Stratford-upon-Avon. Pale amber with a thick white head. Fruity with a little sweet caramel and a mild bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Easy drinking but quite flavourful (if a bit one-dimensional). A pleasant session bitter.
