Bottled. A hazy dark red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, caramel, fruits, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of jaghana. Pours a hazy pale amber with an off-white head. Sweet fruity nose with some perfumy hops. Sweet malty and fruity, heavy phenols. Not that distinct in its hoppiness. Just sort of a hoppy Belgian ale really. 080911

*** FRENCH BEER # 200 *** bottle from Vilage de la Bière Strasbourg. Hazy copper-golden colour, large off-white head. Malty nose with bitter orange. Full-bodied, intensively malty with a nice fruity character, mainly bitter orange, orange peel, orange marmalade... Dry hoppy finish. Very nice and pleasantly smooth carbonation and palate. Not as hoppy as expected, but nevertheless a delicious and well crafted beer.
