Bottle from House Of Trembling Madness. Clear brown body with a thick beige head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of earth, caramel and biscuit. Flavour of tea, lightly roasted malt and nuts. Thin body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Light and well balanced.

Bottle online from 'The Trembling Madness'. Pours an almost clear dark chestnut brown colour with a medium sized throthy off-white head. Aromas of roasted malts, nuts, caramel and burnt brown bread. Taste is similar with a little added dry dark fruit and chocolate. Light to medium body with a smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Nice

Ui, sehr leckeres Ding, schöne Ferne Malzkomposition. In Nase und Trunk brotig-röstig, leicht angebrannt, find ich immer sehr geil. Hallt noch lange malzig nach. Tolles Ding!

Bottle at home picked up from Landbier paradise. Aroma is a nice clear deep copper/ chestnut coloured pour with a tidy beige cap. Aroma is nice earthy grains, twig, chestnut, dried fruit, cake, light earthy roast. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, earthy, toasted malts, some cakey sweetness, fruit loaf, soreem, light ash. Palate is semi sweet, highgish carbonation. Good depth of character.

Crisp and light, even for the style it’s a bit tame all around. Dry and a great dark summer beer. This bottle is 8 months old and I think slightly stale. D&S Dresden. Tried again, same age and tastes stale again

Aroma has wood and fruit (pear, pineapple). Thick, creamy, long-lasting head. Low carbonation, although more than some other beers of this type. Hoppy and fruity. Hopbitter finish with some (beech)wood. That was a long time ago! From bottle, october 2014. Dark brown color. Chocolate and malt in the aroma. Caramel. Malty sweet flavor, bready. Caramelly. Carbonation is soft. Just enough grassy hops the balance the beer out.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with some orangey red tinges and a foamy head. Chocolate, chestnuts, vanilla and raisins in the aroma. Nutty and chocolatey taste with chestnuts, milk chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Very nice indeed.
